About Us
Our goal is to introduce guests to the people, places, traditions, and stories that have shaped Hawaii through thoughtful conversation, carefully curated experiences, and a genuine appreciation for the island we call home. Rather than rushing from attraction to attraction, we encourage guests to slow down, ask questions, explore, and discover the history that continues to live within Maui's landscapes and communities.
Every tour is limited to private groups of up to seven guests, creating an experience that is personal. Conversation naturally replaces scripted lectures, curiosity replaces crowds, and every guest has the opportunity to ask questions, share interests, and help shape the day.
Respect for Hawaii is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to present the island's history with honesty, curiosity, and humility while encouraging appreciation for the cultures, landscapes, and communities that make Maui unique.

Maui Timeline Tour
The Maui Timeline Tour is the foundation of Paia Maui Tours and reflects the philosophy upon which our company was built.
Designed as a private full-day experience, this tour follows approximately 250 years of Maui history, taking our guests through ancient Hawaii, ranching, pineapple, and sugar cane, and into present day.
